Our Fleet

Dedicated Transportation Services (DTS) is a Lincoln, NE based Motor Freight Carrier. Our fleet of tractors is predominantly Freightliner Classic XL condos. DTS is a power only outfit that employs drivers to pull reefers (most less than 3 years old) owned and operated by Johnson Feed Inc. (JFI).  A high percentage of the loads are in a central area of the US and are drop and hook with an out and back dispatch.  Solo mileage generally runs 11,000 to 13,000 miles per month based on driver home time requirements. With an expected average of 12,000 miles per month, drivers average $1500+ per week. You’re in control!

Our Freight

Current trucking loads involve meat and ice cream loads from Sioux Falls SD, Worthington MN, and various locations in NE and IA to two different areas: (1) to destination points in KS, OK and northern TX with return meat loads from Amarillo TX, Guymon OK, Liberal, Holcomb, Dodge City and Kansas City KS returning to NE, IA and MN. (2) From the above loading points in SD, MN, NE and IA to the Southeast returning with furniture to a receiver located in Baraboo, WI, Sioux Falls and Beresford SD. As stated previously a very high percentage of these loads are drop and hook on both ends.

Our Drivers

DTS utilizes Transport Leasing Contract (TLC) to perform taxable payroll and manage driver compliance.  Given that TLC pays thousands of drivers each week, they are able to offer a driver many benefits not accessible to smaller outfits.  These benefits include Dental, Eye Care, life insurance, disability insurance, prepaid legal, etc.

SAFETY

SAFETY IN TRUCKING IS OUR PRIORITY!

We hire drivers based on their experience, driving record, and overall attitude towards safety. If you fit the bill, we’d love to hear from you!
